Victoriana
We love incorporating the luxe details of the Victorian age but how does one do it without looking like we are on the way to a Renaissance fair?
We decided to pair it with some kinky Balenciaga inspired Pink Boots [For another look at how we styled these boots See | This Post ] and a wild-for-fun scarf. What do you think? Did we manage to balance the brocade of the rich velvet with a modern pop of hot pink and the retro-futurism of the Balenciaga Nano bag? I decided on this Victoriana Dress Shop here. It’s sheer sleeves and a short hem gave this look a little more modernity. Seeing as our British weather has been so unpredictable lately, with a spring that never seemed to arrive (on the day of our shoot), I had to sling along this Cruella De Vil furry. If you look very closely we added a spotty puppy [Get your own here |Personalised Biscuiteers gifts made by hand!
] to complete the look! Let’s see if you can spot it!
Separately, If you are keen on making less of a bold statement try perhaps a Victoriana blouse (more shoppable options below) with a pair of velvet skinnies or drape over a denim jacket and an A-line mini for that added cool factor (A look frequented by Miranda Kerr).
Lastly, stay tuned for more spring-friendly fashion to breeze through London in.
Have a lovely week ahead!
