It was very much agreed by trending topics and Instagram overload that Hi-shine was a topic that lingered on the lips and runways of fashion insiders and our favourites of London Fashion Week- Temperley, Erdem and Maison Margiela. From structured blazers to fluid, aquatic cuts, hi-shine was interpreted in all forms.
Also, I loved that Temperley replayed their signature sequins taking it from SS 2018 through to AW 2018 allowing the rest of us to consider an investment piece that would take us through the seasons.
If you had told me last year (when I first started this blog) that I would be in a mirrorball blazer dress freezing my face off at an hour so early the pavements had seen nothing but morning dew – I would have had a little giggle and secretly wished it were true! Oh yes! Anything to distract me from the constant demands of a teeny tiny, just for a moment.
So, I was inspired by Isabel Marant when putting together this look, another designer that does hi shine so tastefully. As a result, a pop of pink seemed a mandatory prerequisite – inspired by the Balenciaga knife boots [ dupe version here |Pink Boots
Finally, I was wondering when your feet undergo an investment, do you stick to blacks, nudes and metallics or do you go for a pop of colour? [Considering exploring with colour? -Try our Colour Test Here]
We would love to hear from you!
Have a lovely weekend my lovelies!
